What happened to the median home price in Massillon during the first quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Massillon rose by $9,000 while total sales increased by 15.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 199 homes sold, with a median sale price of $121,500 - a 8% increase over the $112,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 172 homes sold in Massillon in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Massillon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,849, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
