The fourth quarter of 2021: Home prices in Brewster increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Brewster rose by $16,300 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $131,500 - a 14.1% increase over the $115,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Brewster in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Brewster for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,152, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
