What happened to the median home price in North Lawrence during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in North Lawrence fell by $54,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 21 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 27.8% decrease over the $194,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in North Lawrence in the second half of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in North Lawrence for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,955, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
