North Canton Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan 7.
Another exciting day here at the North Canton Police Department as Mayor Wilder swore in our newly appointed full-time police officer, Michael Mayle. Ofc. Mayle was joined by his wife who had the honor of pinning on his new badge. Chief Frank Kemp Jr. and several other officers were there to congratulate him as well. Ofc. Mayle brings with him 22 years of experience, 19 years with the Stark County Sheriffs Office and 3 years with Henderson PD in Nevada.
Ofc. Mayle’s appointment fills our final open full-time vacancy. Congratulations Michael and welcome to the department!
