County of Stark recently issued the following announcement.
Join Stark JFS and Project KARE in wearing blue for Child Abuse Prevention Month on Wednesday, April 13, 2022!
Help us spread awareness by wearing blue and snapping a photo or selfie to share on social media. Photos can be emailed to Stephen.Rowland@jfs.ohio.gov or shared on your social media page using the tag: #StarkWearsBlue.
Official #StarkWearsBlue shirts and hoodies are available to purchase from Project KARE on their website at www.ProjectKARE.com. All proceeds benefit Project KARE, a 501(c)3 dedicated to addressing the needs of Stark County's most vulnerable children.
Why do we wear blue? "Wear Blue" is a statewide awareness campaign that takes place on the second Wednesday of April for Children Abuse Prevention Month. Ohioans are encouraged to wear blue to work, school, or a community event to show support for preventing child abuse and neglect.
