Louisville Police Department issued the following announcement on Mar 16.
The members of the Louisville Police Department are saddened to learn of the passing of Barbara Prince. Barbara was a long time employee of the department where she worked as a dispatcher. She was a dedicated professional who was well respected and loved by dispatchers and police officers alike.
Her dedication caused her to return to employment on two separate occasions following her retirement when the department was short on staff.
Barbara will be missed by many.
