University of Mount Union issued the following announcement on Apr 4.
Senior music performance and public relations double major, Peyton Zamarelli, has accepted a job with the Cedar Fair Company at Cedar Point after graduation!
"After acting as an events/ merchandise intern for the last two seasons, I am very excited to combine my interests in music and public relations to be the Operations Supervisor of Resorts and Special Events within their Live Entertainment division. I love the city of Sandusky and look forward to living on the lake full-time!"
While she hopes to continue gaining experience in the field of arts management, creating new and memorable experiences, and continue singing in some capacity, she looks back at her time at Mount Union.
"While Mount Union has granted me with a strong education in both of my fields, the campus atmosphere has allowed me to dive into my interests and build strong relationships with other professionals through campus organizations, internships, and involvement in the Alliance community.
My favorite memory has to be singing in the Mount Union Choral Program. I made so many friendships while having the opportunity to perform music at the collegiate level. Specifically, singing with Maestro Eduardo Valdes for Dr. Botzman's Presidential Installation was a surreal experience!
I'd like to give a shoutout to all of the friends I have made through working in ResLife, being a member of PRSSA, and my dear friends in Cope Music Hall "
Congratulations Peyton! We wish you all the best in your next chapter. #30DaysofExceptional
