Racism A Public Health Crisis

Equality and fairness

Canton City Public Health issued the following announcement on Apr 5.

"Racism shapes where and how people live and what resources and opportunities they have. Racism directly affects the physical and mental health of people of color."

In June 2020, CCPH passed a resolution declaring Racism to be a Public Health crisis. We continue to work to embrace equity and diversity to improve the health of our communities.
