Nursing major, Aleksandr Duran '22, will be joining the UPMC Passavant team in Pittsburgh, PA in their Medical Intensive Care Unit/ Surgical Intensive Care Unit after graduation!
Aleksandr hopes to later go back to graduate school to obtain his doctorate and become a Nurse Anesthetist.
"Mount Union has prepared me to be a great leader by getting involved in Phi Kappa Tau and holding an executive position for two years, being a raider guide, a class officer, and the nursing class representative for 3 years in a row. All of these leadership opportunities will prepare me to be a great leader as I enter the healthcare profession.
Although I can't choose one single favorite memory from being at Mount Union, meeting everyone and developing life long friendships has been my favorite memory. As well as my involvement on campus to meet many different groups of people."
