The City of Canal Fulton will be accepting applications for an Entry Level or Lateral Entry Police Officer. The entry level pay rate is $28.00 per hour with generous benefits. The City of Canal Fulton is using the National Testing Network (NTN) to conduct the civil service testing for this position. Interested candidates should register with NTN and schedule a test, go to www.nationaltestingnetwork.com, select ‘Find Jobs’, then select Law Enforcement Jobs and sign up for Canal Fulton Police Department.

Upon completion of your scheduled exam, scores are automatically forwarded to Canal Fulton Police Department. Candidates who attain a passing score on the entry level exam will be placed on Canal Fulton’s eligibility list. The Canal Fulton Police Department will contact candidates on the list and will invite them to participate in further stages of the selection process. The deadline to complete the examination is May 10th, 2022.
Applicants who attain passing scores on the NTN exam are invited to attend a physical fitness assessment, which will be held on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 at 9:00 am, at Northwest Schools, Dr. Martin Smilek Stadium (8580 Erie Ave. N., Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614). Location is subject to change due to inclement weather, and applicants will be notified via email if such changes occur. Attendance is required at the physical fitness test, and candidates must meet the minimum physical agility requirements as detailed on the NTN website in order to remain on the eligibility list.
National Testing Network is a service provided to conduct entry level testing in a standardized, professional environment. National Testing Network does not replace the Canal Fulton’s responsibility and decision making in the testing process.
