STARK COUNTY SHERIFF TO HAVE INCREASED TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT

Sheriff George T. Maier announces that the Stark County Sheriff’s Office will begin an enforcement period focusing on Selective Traffic Enforcement throughout Stark County.  This enforcement period will be: Up to 34 Enforcement hours will be dedicated to Selective Traffic Enforcement from October 1st through October 31st, 2022, with an additional  10 Enforcement hours dedicated to the “Homecoming” blitz campaign  for the same time period.

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office will have increased enforcement and patrol throughout Stark County during this period and strictly enforce the laws concerning speed and seat belt enforcement. 

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office received a grant through the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Ohio Traffic Safety Office, which provides for the additional funding and allows the Stark County Sheriff’s Office to participate in these programs.
