Stark County Sheriff’s Office to Offer Friends and Family CPR Class

(Canton, Ohio) – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is announcing the next CivilEd training opportunity. The public is invited to attend the American Heart Association’s Friends and Family CPR class at the Stark County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Training Center, 143 1st Street SE in Massillon. 

Limited spaces are available on a first-come-first serve basis. The next American Heart Association’s Friends and Family CPR will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult hands-only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and choking relief for adults, children, and infants. There is a 30-person limit to this course.

The public can register for the free course by visiting the Stark County Sheriff’s Office website, clicking on ‘Community Training,’ and following the prompts to select the course at the Stark County Sheriff’s Office Training Center.
