The community is invited to join Walsh University for its annual International Dinner and Cultural Fair sponsored by the World Student Organization on Saturday, March 25, at the Cecchini Family Health and Wellness Complex inside the Auxiliary Gymnasium, located on the west side of campus. The highly anticipated event celebrates the heritage and diversity of Walsh University’s international community representing 28 different countries.

The event, which is open to the public, features buffet-style, international cuisine prepared by Walsh University’s international students representing countries such as Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Ghana, Japan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Spain and the UK.

“Our international students put their hearts and souls into creating an event full of energy that celebrates the unique aspects of their individual cultures,” said Director of International Student Services Kristi Campbell. “Interaction with students from around the world provides both our campus and the greater Stark County community with a unique cross-cultural experience of sampling new cuisines and experiencing international artistic talents.”

Doors open at 4:30 p.m., the program begins at 5:00 p.m., and dinner will be served by 5:30 p.m. Entertainment presented by students and guests following dinner includes an international fashion show, singing and dancing performances, and more.

Ticket prices are $15 per adult and $5 for students. Children younger than 5 are admitted free. Online reservations must be made in advance beginning Monday, February 20, at www.walsh.edu/internationaldinner
