CANTON, Ohio (March 13, 2023) – The community is invited to join the Women's Board of Aultman Hospital for the 2023 Angel Auction on Saturday, May 13, at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. The theme, “Angels in Tuscany: A Night Under the Stars,” is designed to transport guests to the stunning Italian region with its beauty and elegance.
All proceeds from the event will go toward the Women’s Board’s $3 million pledge for surgical suite enhancements at Aultman Hospital, including equipment and services that will benefit patients and their overall experiences.
“I am grateful and humbled to learn that the operating room will be the beneficiary of the Aultman Women’s Board next fundraising effort,” said Steven Kelly, M.D., Aultman General Surgery. “Over many decades of giving, our community has been strengthened by their generosity. This investment in the operating room will directly impact clinical outcomes and patient safety. With new equipment and instruments, along with improvements in infrastructure, the Women’s Board gift will provide meaningful enhancements for the patient experience, as well as an improved work environment for staff and providers. It’s impossible to convey how thankful we are to the Women’s Board and our generous community for their investment in our future.”
Attendees can expect a night filled with entertainment, dining and both silent and live auctions. Co-chairing this year's Angel Auction are Lori Martino and Carman D'Agostino, who bring their passion and creativity to the event planning process.
“Carman and I are honored to be chairing the Angel Auction together this year, as we are both passionate about the work of the Women’s Board and its impact on Aultman Hospital,” Martino said. “We have an amazingly talented team assembled to bring a bit of Tuscany to Canton through this fundraiser.”
