Jackson High School standouts AJ Wertz and Kyle Benson’s college team lost in NCAA Division II baseball game on Saturday, March 15

AJ Wertz and Kyle Benson

On Saturday, March 15, former Jackson High School standouts AJ Wertz and Kyle Benson’s current college team, the Walsh Cavaliers, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Ashland Eagles.

The game took place at Donges Field at Tomassi Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Biery Stadium against Slippery Rock The Rock.
