Delaney Ellis and Melissa Holzopfel, former Perry High School standouts, played on Saturday, Feb. 22 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Perry High School standouts Delaney Ellis and Melissa Holzopfel’s current college team, the Cleveland State Vikings, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at PC Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4:45 p.m. at PC Softball Complex against Presbyterian Blue Hose.
