AJ Wertz and Kyle Benson, former Jackson High School standouts, played on Sunday, Feb. 23 in NCAA Division II baseball game

AJ Wertz and Kyle Benson

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Jackson High School standouts AJ Wertz and Kyle Benson’s current college team, the Walsh Cavaliers, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the California Vulcans.

The game took place at Wild Things Park. This was their second matchup against the Vulcans this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at UMSL Baseball Field against UMSL Tritons.
