Walsh University issued the following announcement.
Wednesday's Men's Basketball Season Opener Postponed
The men's basketball season opener versus Tiffin, scheduled for Wednesday (Dec. 16) evening at Alumni Arena, has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
The makeup date is being determined at this time and will be announced when approved by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
After four postponed games so far, the Walsh Cavaliers men's basketball team is slated to open the 2020-21 season on Saturday (Dec. 19) at 3:00 PM against Cedarville. No fans will be allowed inside Alumni Arena for the season opener on Saturday.
