DRUG TAKE BACK DAY on Oct. 29

On behalf of the Massillon Police Dept., Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery, the Massillon Health Dept. and the City of Massillon, we would like to remind everyone the Massillon Police Dept. will be conducting their annual DRUG TAKE BACK DAY on Oct. 29th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

This event is in collaboration with the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and will take place in the Massillon Police Dept. lobby.  Anyone who wishes to have old, unwanted or unused medication may bring those items to the police lobby during those times.  Please make sure all pill bottles have the personal names or labels removed from the bottles.

Also, the Massillon Police Dept. and the Massillon Health Dept. will have DETERRA bags which assist in the proper disposal of unused or unwanted drugs.  And just a reminder, the police department has a drug take back box located in the lobby 365 days a year for easy disposal.   Let’s all do this together and make Massillon a safe place to live.

Thank you!
