NOTICE TO BIDDERS BIDS FOR: LAND CASH RENT OF FARMLAND

The City of Canal Fulton is accepting bids from people interested in farming roughly 8 of 13 acres of vacant land for the upcoming 2023 growing season. The land can be viewed on the Stark County Auditor’s website as parcel #10011627. Interested bidders must know that the City will be constructing a water tower on approximately 5 acres starting in late summer/early fall.

Interested bidders should send an email to the City Manager at citymgr@cityofcanalfulton-oh.gov indicating the type of crop that is to be farmed, the beginning and ending of the growing season, and the price per acre in rent you are bidding for use of the land. The email must be received by the City Manager no later than 4:00 pm on March 31, 2023, and only one bid will be permitted.

The successful bidder will be responsible for all costs associated with crop production and harvest, and must have proof of insurance.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the most favorable to the City. Please call Dan Bucher, Jr. at 330-936-4725 with any questions or concerns.
